TYPICAL ITINERARY FOR A PASSION TOUR TO ISRAEL
DAY 1 THURSDAY-TEL AVIV AIRPORT:Embark on our journey to the Holy Land. Prepare yourself for a life-changing experience. We will be walking where Jesus walked! Arrive at the Airport you you will meet or waiting and eager to assist tour management staff and representatives who will assist you through security and baggage claim. Later on we will conductour daily devotional at sunset. We will enjoy a time of prayer of thanks & safety and the special blessings ahead, ap rayer also for the people of the land. As a welcome special treat, we will take a tour of the Promenades of Jerusalem and return to enjoy a good night's rest. Overnight: Jerusalem
DAY 2 FRIDAY:
Good Friday on Dolorosa/Visit to the Mount of Olives (Garden of Gethsemane)
We begin with a soul reflecting walk through Via Dolorosa tracing the foosteps of Christ on his way to Cruxifiction, beginning with the condemnation of Jesus and ends at the tomb where he was laid from which he rose from the dead.
Today we will literally reach out and touch the past at the Mount of Olives, the Kidron Valley, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Garden Tomb, visit the house of Caiaphas and the "Upper Room" where the disciple whom Jesus loved laid his head on His breast and where later Thomas cried; "my Lord & my God.", Via Dolorosa. We will spare some time to shop at the colorful Arab Market there.
This Holy walk is punctuated with prayer devotionals along selected points of the walk with prayer & the word shared to highlight our commonality in this life with Christ's suffering.
As a special treat, we will take a night tour of the Promenades of Jerusalem.

DAY 3 SATURDAY:
Second Day on Dolorosa/Mount Zion/Tomb of David....
Today we will repeat of our Holy walk through via Dolorosa with prayer devotionals & teaching emphasis at the 4th point of the station of the cross, where Jesus met his mother. From there we proceed on until we arrive at the Holy sepulchure church where Christ was cruxified. There we will stop, reflect & prayer. Our short devotional & prayer at this most vital point of our walk with Christ today is the highlight of our three day sojourn with Christ.
Later we will visit Mount Zion, King David's Tomb, the Jewish Cardo, and David's Citadel and the Western Wall of the ancient temple.

DAY 4 SUNDAY:
Third & final Day on Dolorosa/City of David.....
We will conduct our final Holy walk through via Dolorosa, culminating at the tomb of Christ where he was buried and where he was ressurected. Here we will pray, reflect, listen to a Bible reading and word sharing at the tomb. This particular point is the highlights of our spiritual sojourn in the steps of Jesus. with songs of praise and adoration we will conclude this part of our Holy tour. Feeling renewed & encouraged by the experience of walking with Jesus, we will then proceed to
visit the Southern Wall Excavations, Western wall, Kotel tunnels leading through to the second Temple era & on to the city of David with Hezekia Tunnels

DAY 5 MONDAY:
Visit Caesarea, Megiddo, Canna & Nazareth......
We will begin this day of touring with a special devotion. After breakfast, we travel along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea, where Gentiles first heard the Good News from Peter and were baptized. See the Roman Amphitheatre and aqueduct. Then we'll journey on to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah hid from King Ahab, and through the Jezreal Valley to Har (Mount) Megiddo, biblical Armageddon, where archaeologists have unearthed 20 layers of civilization. We continue on through the area of Cana and Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, where we visit the Nazareth Village - a wonderful recreation of Biblical times with costumed guides. We will have dinner and overnight lodging for the coming three nights in the north on the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 6 TUESDAY:
The Golan heights, Caesarea Philippi & Mount of Beatitudes........
Following breakfast, our morning travels take us to Kfar Kedem in the Golan Heights to experience the reconstructed biblical village, where we will participate in events and crafts that were carried out in the time of Jesus. Then we continue to the northern site emphasizing the loss of God's blessing on Israel to visit Caesarea Philippi which is also the site of Peter's Confession. Then we will go on to the mystical city of Safed, which is very special on the Jewish Sabbath.

DAY 7 WEDNESDAY:
Tabgha, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Mt.Carmel...........
We will greet this day early with a sunrise prayer service on the Jesus Boat in the Sea of Galilee bringing to life the experiences of the fishermen disciples and bringing us as close as we can be in spirit to the day we are celebrating. After breakfast, we visit the site of the multiplication of loaves and fish at Tabgha, on to Capernaum where we will visit the ruins of an ancient synagogue and Peter's home. At the Mount of the Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Gallilee, we will reenact Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount�. From there we will continue on to Korazin.

DAY 6 THURSDAY:
Jordan River Baptism site, Beth Shean...................
After breakfast, we will stop at Yardenit for a baptism experience at the baptism site on the Jordan River. Next we travel southward to Beit-Shean/Scythopolis, the most magnificent archeological site in Israel, located at the strategic juncture of the Jezreel and Jordan valleys, it has been almost continuously inhabited throughout history. After defeating Saul and his sons on Mt. Gilboa, the Philistines hanged their bodies on the walls of Beit-Shean. (1 Sam 31:10-12) During the intertestamental period, the city was renamed the "Scythopolis". Archaeologists have uncovered a huge number of ruins of the Roman/Byzantine Scythopolis. During the time of Jesus, Scythopolis was one of the chief cities of the Decapolis--a league of ten cities sharing Greek culture and government. Ascend to Jerusalem. Upon entry we will stop for a special devotion and a prayerful Service on Haas Promenade.

DAY 9 FRIDAY:
Visit Massada, Dead Sea Scroll, the Oasis Ein Gedi...........
We will have a special morning Sunday devotion in the desert. Taking the road out of Jerusalem we will have a special morning devotional service overlooking the Judean Desert. From there we will continue south to Jericho (depending on the political situation), and the Dead Sea Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, the Oasis of Ein Gedi, to walk to the springs and then to float in the Dead Sea. The next stop will be in a cable car to the mountain top fortress of Massada. Here our guide will treat us to the history of the famous zealot stand. From here we will visit a Christian sculptor who has lived in The Land for 30 years, in Arad

DAY 10:
Day of Departure:
If time allows, on the way to the airport, we will stop for a Gleaning experience in the tradition of Naomi and Ruth in the fields of Boaz, as a farewell gift to the Land and the people.
Homeward bound.
Optional Daily Alternative/Substitution Tour:
Today we visit the Southern Wall Excavations -This southern side of The Temple was the main entrance for the common folk, whereas the Priests and Levites had their own entrance from the higher, eastern side. Parts of the giant stairs, which led to the Temple Mount from the courtyard, have been unearthed. It is in this courtyard that Jesus likely drove out the vendors and money exchangers who were exploiting the people. It is also likely that this is were Peter stood and preached and where thousands were saved and baptized. On our way out of the city we will visit the Western Wall and then the fascinating Kotel Tunnels leading us through the Second Temple era. And then on to the City of David with the Hezekia Tunnels.
